We are a family-run farm built on a journey that began far from here. After immigrating from Iran to Canada, we brought with us a deep agricultural heritage and a long-standing connection to the land. Our goal was simple but meaningful: to grow traditional Iranian herbs and produce in Canada for the first time, using local farming practices while preserving the flavors, knowledge, and cultural roots we grew up with. Starting from a small farm in Abbotsford, British Columbia, we have worked side by side as a family—learning, adapting, and growing with each season. What began as a dream has become a path defined by hard work, resilience, and a strong belief in sharing authentic, farm-grown products with our community.

Samira Mokhtari
Co-Founder & CMO
Samira leads sales and marketing at Hiwa Farm, sharing our story and connecting our farm with the community. With a background in marketing and hands-on agricultural experience, she focuses on building meaningful relationships with customers and helping our farm grow in a thoughtful and sustainable way.
Somayyeh Mokhtari
Co-Founder & COO
Somayyeh oversees the day-to-day operations of Hiwa Farm and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. With years of hands-on experience and a strong eye for detail, she plays a key role in organizing farm work, production, and distribution, making sure our products reach customers fresh and on time.
Gholamhossein Ahmadi
Co-Founder & CEO
Dr. Ahmadi provides overall direction and guidance for Hiwa Farm. With a PhD and long-standing experience in crop physiology, he supports farming decisions with scientific knowledge and practical insight, helping the farm grow responsibly while maintaining quality and sustainability.
Tahereh Ezatighods
Co-Founder + CFO
Tahereh manages the financial side of Hiwa Farm, including planning, budgeting, and cash flow. With experience in business and customer relations, she helps ensure the farm remains financially healthy while supporting long-term growth and stability.
